OPI DS Glamour | Konad Bows and Silver Shatter!!

Yay for stampys!!  Eric noticed I didn't do any stamping nail art for the past few months, and when he noticed I realized I was getting a little fuddy duddy.  So I decided to bust out his favorite color OPI DS Glamour with the center image from plate M56:

Lot of Holo goodness!  This is the second Glamour I purchased during a panic of having only 1/8th of a bottle left, and I've gone through 1/3rd of this bottle.  Good thing I have two more backups.  I hope they last!!
I used Konad's special polish in white for the bows and silver crackle on my ring finger just for more glitz and glamour.

Tell me, has it been a while since you've done stampy designs as well?

OPI DS Exclusive & Silver Shatter | Like it? Then Win it!!

Hi fellow beauties!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you hard-working Moms!
Today is super cloudy, but I managed to catch a quick shot of Exclusive with Silver Shatter in a break between the clouds.

Two coats of Exclusive indoors:
OPI DS Exclusive
This applies like a dream.  Two smooth coats and it was opaque.  The color is a beautiful smooth holo magenta.  I find the color is similar to Extravagance except Extravagance has a scattered holo effect.

Another indoor shot:

OPI DS Exclsive with Silver Shatter:

Silver Shatter
Everyone has been releasing crackle polishes or announcing future releases.  Are you still digging the crack polishes?  I have fallen in love with Silver Shatter.  The application is fantastic!  I used one semi-thick coat and swiped side-to-side and diagonally on each nail.  My ring finger looks like something from a heart rate monitor!  :o)
Silver Shatter is totally hot in my opinion.

If you want OPI DS Exclusive and Silver Shatter.  Be sure to enter the Apothica Gift Certificate giveaway:

I'll send the winner of the Apothica giveaway these two hot colors.

Up next...CND's Jason Wu Collection.

Dotted Line French-Like Mani | Born Pretty Store

Hey beauties!

Born Pretty Store allowed me to select a couple of items to review.  You may all know them for their generosity in gifting the super cute Hello Kitty stamping plate.  If you haven't ordered one yet, what are you waiting for?!  They are able to offer 10 people (One per address) a plate per day, and be sure to use the code BP299
I created a cute Valentine's mani with Hello Kitty, but unfortunately photos of that mani are part of the *Poof* it's gone club.  :o(
Even though so many photos are gone, I have been able to find a few existing photos of manicures I did before my laptop was stolen.
This is one of them:
This is two coats of OPI's Japanese DS Exclusive, and I used Born Pretty Store's Dotting Tools for the little dots in OPI DS Glamour.
I used the small dot on the blue tool.
This was a fun one and very eye catching!!

Of course the dotting tool is very simple to use.  A little dollop of polish, a dip of the dotting tool and you can create a bagillion dots everywhere!

I do like that the set comes in a sleeve and the quality is great especially for the price.  They even have free shipping!

Born Pretty Store sent me the items in return for an honest review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Quick Bundle Monster Nail

I couldn't help but grab that set of plates a while back, and this was the only thing I have done with it.  I can't even remember how long ago I did this.

I do know I used OPI's DS Fantasy with Konad's Special Polish in White and Yellow.
The plate was well engraved and did not give me any trouble.  My poor butterfly had to be upside down on this hand.  I should have used the stamp transfer method.

:o)

Nationwide Nail Supply | Polish & Nail Décor

So sorry for the lack of posts everyone.  Things have been so hectic as Eric and I are really getting started with redesigning our house.
Anyway, I've been meaning to post this.  Here are some items I purchased at Nationwide Nail Supply.

Multicolored Nail Jewels.  I love crystal rhinestones!
OPI's DS Signature, China Glaze's Let's Do it in 3D, Glam and Glits' Sea Pebbles and Moonstone.

As you can see, these pots are quite large.  I'd say they are about 1.5" in Diameter, and the amounts are .5 oz.
The Sea Gems Nail Art in Sea Pebbles 129 are small bits of mother of pearl in a lead color.
The Diamond Nail Art in Moonstone 73 are diamond shaped holo pieces with a silver base color.

I purchased Signature not knowing if I had it or not, and thankfully I did not.  :o)
I thought I would pull out my other OPI Designer Series pink holos.
Here is Exclusive, Signature and Passion:

Only after pulling those three out did I realize I had more of these beauties than I thought I did.  I contemplated buying Fantasy, but I'd much rather have Glamour and they didn't have it.

Top Row L-R:  Exclusive, Signature, Reserve, Desire, Sapphire
Bottom Row L-R:  Extravagance, Passion, Jewel, Original, Coronation
This is what I did with Signature and the Glam and Glits Moonstone:

Holy Toledo!! | Haul from Nationwide Nail Supply

Okay!
I've been to Nationwide Nail Supply in Houston so many times in the past, but I drove by a few weeks ago and realized that I have not stopped by in so long.

So I wandered in and was mesmerized by how much more they have now than they did 2 almost 3 years ago.  (Of course they would have more)
They have two double-sided OPI stands with so many new colors and some that I have wanted for quite some time, but did not want to pay a good bit of money for.

They also had a large China Glaze rack, an Essie rack, Color Club Rack, Art Club Rack, an isle of Chelsea and others like it, Orly and the entire collection of Zoya Polishes.

Ahhh!  I was kicking myself after seeing it because they Zoya's were less than $4.00 each!

Anyway...I grabbed the polishes below, OPI Lint-Free Wipes 150ct for $1.00, and Qtica Vanilla Plum Hand Scrub for only $6.00!!!!  Woohoo!  I love this scrub!

They are meant to be wholesale, and the prices I got were from the owner.  Depending on when you come in you can either get things for less expensive than other places or you can get them for less, less, less (I repeat) less expensive than anywhere else I have ever seen, but if you have a license you can get everything for even less than that!!

The top row are polishes that I got for the 259 followers Giveaway.  :oP
(Yeah, that's how long ago this was taken)
CG OMG, OPI DS Extravagance and OPI Glow-Ink in the Dark.
The bottom row has CG OMG, OPI DS Sapphire, Glow-Ink in the Dark, Exclusive (I already owned Extravagance) and Chelsea Kaleidoscope.

Until Next Time!
