Blue Bell & Butterfinger

Okay, my husband and I went into the grocery store yesterday and he left me in the ice cream isle to pick something. I usually take so long trying to decide what I want he goes and grabs some things from our list. As I was standing there, I grabbed vanilla ice cream and right above it I saw "Butter Crunch". Curious, I picked it up wondering what ingredient made it be called "Butter Crunch". I thought perhaps it would be toffee because I do love toffee, but...

I turned it to look at the label and I saw "NESTLE BUTTERFINGER"!!!! OMG, OMG, OMG how I love Butterfinger. I always get Dairy Queen Butterfinger Blizzards. So smooth and creamy, it is definitely one of my top favorites. Well needless to say, I grabbed this glorious looking ice cream and let it sit in my freezer for an hour or two so I wouldn't look like the pig I am. My freezer makes anything frozen within 30 minutes so I new this would be hard like regular ice creams since it was there for at least an hour, but as soon as my spoon went in, it just sunk in like butter. This ice cream is so light and full of Butterfinger goodness, I am going to stop right here and go eat the rest of it.

Oh nice! Mine usually makes ice cream rock hard - I kind of hate that, I should turn it down. I make a pig out of myself when I discover a good ice cream!

I am in the same boat. I hate to admit it, but I always check out the new month's rotating flavors. We always stop at the gas station in Brenham and I get 1/2 Peppermint and 1/2 Cinnamon. My family looks at me like I'm crazy, but I swear it is sooooo delicious.
