NOTD *~*~PIC HEAVY~*~* | Chanel Peridot, Missha HGR01, $OPI Mermaid to Order & NYX Jungle

I felt like sporting ombré nails today.  Seeing as it is summer, I felt mermaid inspired colors would be a good idea.  XD

Jungle is a peacock blue jelly with a greenish gold shimmer while the other three are frosty colors.
Mermaid to Order is a turquoise-y teal that flashes a deep watery blue color.
HGR01 is a greenish gold color that flashes the same deep watery blue color as Mermaid to Order.
Peridot is a golded olive that flashes a blue-green color.

I applied two coats of all three.

In the Shade:

Chanel | Peridot

Missha | HGR01

$OPI | Mermaid to Order

NYX | Jungle

What do you all think of these colors?  Any of these you just had to have?
I just had to have Mermaid to order.  I got Missha because I thought the bottle was adorable, and it turns out the brush is just like the crazy large Sally Hansen brushes.  I picked up Peridot because that is my birthstone.  As for Jungle, I received it from the lovely Edita of AllYouDesire (Yes the one with the totally awesome nails).

Essie Braziliant Summer 2011 | Swatches: Absolutely Shore, Super Bossa Nova, Braziliant and Smooth Sailing

The Braziliant Summer 2011 collection by Essie is hot!  I have my four faves from this collection.

Absolutely Shore:

Absolutely Shore | Two Coats

Absolutely Shore  | In the Shade
Absolutely Shore:  Is a fabulous pastel sea foam green.

Super Bossa Nova:

Super Bossa Nova | Two Coats

Super Bossa Nova | In the Shade
Super Bossa Nova:  Is a vibrant shimmery fuchsia.  The shimmer is on the soft blue side in the sun, but indoors it translates to a hot pink shimmer.

Braziliant:

Braziliant | Two Coats

Braziliant | In the Shade
Braziliant:  Is a vibrant orange with a hint of warm shimmer.  After swatching this one I really did not want to remove it, but I had to in order to swatch other colors.  After all the swatches were done.  I wore Braziliant and Super Bossa Nova as an actual manicure.  XD

Smooth Sailing:

Smooth Sailing | Two Coats

Smooth Sailing | In the Shade
Smooth Sailing:  According to Essie Smooth Sailing is a shimmery lavender blue, but it looks more like periwinkle to me in real life.  Nonetheless, it is a gorgeous color!  This is definitely one to grab.

Any of you grab all the colors from the Braziliant line?  What do you think about this collection?

Missha Crystal Nail Polish | Black Holo HBK01

I picked up Missha's Crystal Nail Polish in HBK01 and HGR01.

HBK01 is a black polish with super fine holographic glitter.

It needs a topcoat to be smooth although it isn't terribly rough without it. It has a nice faint scent in the same family as Anna Sui and Paul & Joe. Anna Sui us the strongest of the three followed by P&J then Missha.

The bottle is shaped throughout like a heart or a leaf.

Here is a quick snap of HGR01

Magnetic polishes from Nailart-und-mehr.de

I was researching the new nail art stampers (the ones that do not need a scraper and separate stamp) when I came across this site:

Nailart & Mehr

I recognized it because I saw someone mention it in a comment on someone's blog. I can't remember, but if some one knows who it was please let me know. I want to give you a ginormous thank you!!

I went to this company's website and the first thing I saw was...Magnet.

No friggin way, yes way. I ordered four magnetic polishes the star magnet and striped one as well as the stand. I'm sure I would touch the polish without it.

Check out what I just got in today!!

They sent a cute little bear nail charm!!

This looked like a glue type product which you can use with stamping products and them apply foils to create cute foil designs! I'll have to review it. I've been photographing so many things with my camera from lipsticks to polishes, but can't get my photo library to not crash. I'll have to reinstall the software and finally get that going so you all don't have to look at camera phone images.

The two nail stampers I picked out:

The four magnificent magnetic polishes I picked out!!!!

Blue night: ml-06
This one is my favorite!! It is blue with a purple shimmer. Of course you can't tell in this photo.

The magnets:

My quick trial:

These were so easy to use and dried very quickly! The finish is somewhat rubbery looking, and if I had a topcoat they could look super glossy.

Pricing and shipping is high, but at least they were able to send them to me here in Texas!!

A++++

I'm going to be getting the rest of their colors. I'd been lemming the Essence Magnetic polishes, but I'm sure even if I had one of those, it couldn't beat these puppies. Really, these come in colors like blue, green, red, purple, pink and of course the charcoal color.

The magnetic polishes are on their website for €8.95 each, the bottom of the bottle shows €9.95, but I was only charged €7.46 each.

Will any of you splurge and try them out?

Let me know or if you already have some, I'd like to see your swatches!  You can leave your blog page below, and if I'm not following you let me know as I like to see what you all come up with!

Anniversary | 05.19.07-05.19.10

This year is my 3-year anniversary, and my hunny bunny surprised me by taking me out to eat at Del Frisco's.  I thought we would have gone to Carrabba's especially since their food is so delicious.
Well the steak and side dishes were soooo delicious at Del Frisco's, and I don't even like steak or hamburgers.  I know I'm weird.  :oP

No photos of the food as I was too distracted.

Before he took me out to eat we had about 30 minutes to kill, and he wanted to take me shopping.  We went to a few different boutiques, but with not a lot of time we went into White House | Black Market because he knew I wanted these super cute espadrilles, and I usually wear a 6.5, but they didn't have it online and neither did the shop so I tried on the 7s and they were perfect!

I wore OPI's Mad as a Hatter over Savina's Black Pearl.

I wore Zoya's Ivanka with Konad and Rhinestones.

Eric let me pick what ever I wanted but I had to shop fast.  I really need a new carry-on so I was thinking about getting either the Pegase or the Keepall with my initials and stripes in either pink and blue or pink and green.
I was afraid it would take to long so we went into Tiffany & Co.  I saw this bracelet and was so happy to find out it was over $300 less than the one in silver.
You can find it here:  Tiffany & Co.  |  Elsa Peretti Small Bone Cuff in Ruthenium over Copper

Ha!  The bike totally photo-bombed this picture.

Three wonderful years of marriage and many many more to go.  :o)
