Disco Brites with a little Konad

I kept platforms on, and decided to add a little Konad fun!  I used Konad IP m62 in the white special polish, and the psyche pink rose is from fauxnad IPC02.

I cut my thumb off again!  My thumb looks so short in the full-hand images.  I promise it is a pretty normal size, but I will admit that my pinky is tiny.  :(
Haha.  It really does look like a bunch of different people's fingers.

The butterfly on my thumbs are from the fauxnad IP C02 and they are in Psyche Pink.

L.A. Girls Disco Brites - Platforms & Strobe Light

Saturday evening I thought I would finally try out my L.A. Girls Disco brites. It didn't do much good as I was staying home and we don't have blacklight parties, but anyway...
I have Platforms on. I ordered it online through Cherry Culture and was hoping it would have a more magenta feel, but the color is super hot. It looks a little blah in my pictures, but I've had people really notice this color.
I love polishes with a thicker consistency and this one did not disappoint. I could have gotten away with one coat, but I always apply two. (I like to use my time wisely) :o)

Yep...I managed to cut my thumb off here, but you can see how smooth this polish is. The finish is like glass.

There's my thumb! I'm still sorry about all the little frays. I don't think I will ever get to a salon.
Here I have Strobe Light. The tiny color swatches on the website do not have any descriptions and I couldn't find any information regarding this clear color. I thought it would be fun to use a clear Blacklight sensitive polish on any color just in case I do go to the disco. (Maybe I'll meet The Zohan) While looking at the colors on Cherry Culture, I followed my instinct that said, "OK, this tiny color swatch has an outline so it must be a clear color." Voila! It is. I also like the cool hue it has. If you are worried about stained nails this may be a good option if you want to go nail-ked.

Blue Bell & Butterfinger

Okay, my husband and I went into the grocery store yesterday and he left me in the ice cream isle to pick something. I usually take so long trying to decide what I want he goes and grabs some things from our list. As I was standing there, I grabbed vanilla ice cream and right above it I saw "Butter Crunch". Curious, I picked it up wondering what ingredient made it be called "Butter Crunch". I thought perhaps it would be toffee because I do love toffee, but...

I turned it to look at the label and I saw "NESTLE BUTTERFINGER"!!!! OMG, OMG, OMG how I love Butterfinger. I always get Dairy Queen Butterfinger Blizzards. So smooth and creamy, it is definitely one of my top favorites. Well needless to say, I grabbed this glorious looking ice cream and let it sit in my freezer for an hour or two so I wouldn't look like the pig I am. My freezer makes anything frozen within 30 minutes so I new this would be hard like regular ice creams since it was there for at least an hour, but as soon as my spoon went in, it just sunk in like butter. This ice cream is so light and full of Butterfinger goodness, I am going to stop right here and go eat the rest of it.

Essie - Perky Purple

Today I wanted to wear something bright yet classy so I busted out Essie's Perky Purple. This color really is fabulous, and the application, superb. It looks very pink in my photo, but it has a hint of blue in real life making it a perky purple color. It dried quickly and matte like most neons I've tried. I used Konad plate m62 for the bib necklace bow in Konad special polish white, and m36 for the butterflies in Psyche Pink.
This is how my right hand turned out. (Much better than my left)
I am right-handed, but for some reason my left hand looked like I had some real issues and I am too embarrassed to post it.

I'm still an Ammie, but I hope to get better. I will definitely be trying some of those new plates when they come out. :o)

My first Konad!!!!

Hello Ladies!
I received my butt-load haul of Konad products at the beginning of the week, and I am now posting what I had on all week.  I would also like to apologize for the state of my nails and cuticles.  The last time I had a manicure has to be at least two years ago.  :(

Here are my nails with a clear basecoat.
I do love clear colors.

I have one coat of China Glaze's Fairy Dust.  I go through this polish like crazy.  I used Konad plates m29 on my thumb and m36's butterflies on my other fingers.
The little heart is from a fauxnad plate labeled B01.  This plate came with a variety of plates including one that had Hello Kitty.  :o)  I will be using that one soon.

Let me know what you think!

Chick-fil-A Straw Fail

I was so sad to see this as I love Chick-fil-A, but it is ironic none-the-less.
